Staying at the Hotel Capstone the night of the 2010 A-Day game was exceptional. It was like Christmas to a 5 year old (except we are middle age). We had opportunities to talk with more than ten employees and EVERYONE was so helpful, friendly and made sure we were having a good time. There is no better service ANY WHERE. The employees were delightful. The room was clean, comfortable and just what we needed. The convenience of staying on campus was a real plus. We parked our car on Saturday morning and did not have to use it again until we started home on Sunday afternoon. We walked to everything, but hotel employees asked if we needed transportation. We will certainly return.

I can't say enough about the staff at Hotel Capstone. Everyone was friendly and operated so efficiently. It is nice to encounter that level of service. The hotel was clean and very welcoming! Thanks to all the staff.

The Hotel Capstone is simply the best hotel in Tuscaloosa. To be fair, it is the ONLY full-service and/or luxury hotel in Tuscaloosa but its' location right on the campus of the university and the recent renovations make it comparable to just about any full service hotel in the state. Unless you are just looking for a really low rate, it can not be beat.

The hotel itself is great, and to include the club lounge is completely worth the price. My husband and I stay at the hotel quite often, and it has never been quite as nice as lately. The young lady who is in the club lounge in the evenings is just lovely. She is extremely polite, and she, as well as the great wine and food makes the experience well worth the money. The people at the front desk are pretty nice too. I think it was a young man named Darius who took my luggage to my room for me, and he was just wonderful. The hotel is lucky to have such polite young people working for them. The food is delicious, the housekeepers are trustworthy, and everything was just perfect. We will definitely keep coming back!
